i have a 95 trans am.. well long story short, I have been smelling raw gas. And it comming from around the gas cap. I have replaced the cap and still smell it! i was wondering if there was another evap some where that im not aware of. I have to put my kids in this car and need it to be safe! some one im sure has had this problem before! also i forgot to add that there is no TANK PSI.. ( when you open the cap you would here like air comming out) I dont have that any more that just stopped like a week ago! i just want this stopped. its giving me a head ache. lol..

I have looked for a leaks around the filler neck.. I cant find one. so im not sure were else to look!

evap can is in wheel well near the filler neck. didnt u have it deleted in ur tune? you need to try the right gas cap on it too.

I dont think it was deleted.. if it was why would i smell gas?

I had the smell of gas in the car of my old '97. I replaced the evap canister behind the plastic liner in the lt rear wheel well...smell went away..

Hmmm, I have a gas smell when I fill up. Guess Im gonna check the evap canister.

he brought it over an i helped him with his problem was a combo of one of the evap lines that go to the can that comes off the tank had fallen outta its rubber connector that is dried out. the other issue was his gas cap
