actully installed with the help of three of my homies on the 26th of august, lmao..the night before we went to the track with her for the first time. we started around 8pm and wrapped up at 330am, unpainted but none the less welded in and ready for tech. so last night and this morning i took the time to paint it. what a time consuming task that turned out to be!

Looks good!!!! I gotta think about one of these too........except I'm going to need something done with that crossbar behind the seats........have a kids seat to go in the back......with a kid.....and I am NOT trying to maneuver around that!

How much of a PITA was it to paint that in the car?

thanks, wish i would have had time to have them bent, but it isn't to bad for foot room with them straight. the notching was pretty close for $224.00 shipped to my door, lol!

thanks!!

not back seat friendly at all, that bar would be a major PITA for a car seat going in and out. painting it in the car was time consuming, you had to make sure you paid attention to what your were painting so you didn't get in a spot where you couldn't get to a bar cause of wet paint. that and standing on your head to see and paint under the bars, lmao!

Looking good!! This will be one of my next mods. Hate to do it to my street car...but I want to run at the track and be safe without getting bitched at.

thank you! it would stink if it was my daily driver forsure. but for a weekend cruiser and track car its not bad and like ya say, safe with no bitching.
