Hey guys-

I have an Aeromotive FPR, specific to 94-97 LT1. P/N 13107 I think.
I bought it used but in good condition.
My question is this: when I turn my key to prime the fuel system, and it will jump to the 40 psi it's set at, but bleed down fairly quick to about 20 psi, then continue to slowly bleed down to about 10 psi, is the regulator having issues internally? Is there a diaphragm or check valve that retains the pressure at the regulator?

I would say it would be the check valve in the fuel pump.

Both fuel pumps are brand new Walbro's. Dual in-tank setup.

check to see if fuel is leaking our of the vacuum port.... You can get a rebuild kit for it if it is leaking...

Interesting...
Anyone else with thoughts on this?
I figured I'd get some Aeromotive haters in here...

Something is definitely leaking somewhere in the system, pressure should hold steady for at least a minute. What kind of time frame are you speaking of because you only mention "slowly" and "fairly quick"

The fuel pressure will bleed from 40 down to 20 in a matter of 10 seconds or so, and from 20 to 10 in about 45 seconds.
