i had some guys crawling under the car to look at the exhaust. Basically its longtubes into 3" true duals joined by a 3" X pipe, then out single chamber flowmaster mufflers. I think its my favorite exhaust setup to date, and i've tried most of them. With the 28's i don't have clearance issues thus far w/ speed bumps or RR tracks, but on 26's i'd be in trouble probably. Listen for yourself...

1st, here's what losing by 2/10th looks like to BadHawk!!

yup, despite my car met all the rules, i did not. I did have my long pants and sleeves but didn't ever put them on...and i'm not proud of it, should have most certainly dressed better.

thanks, by this time i've broken it enough to where it doesn't bother me anymore. Poor thing sat from Nov 09 to Aug 10 with various problems. There's a vid, a short phone vid, that i posted on youtube the night it fired up CORRECTLY for the first time all year, and that was Sept 1...so i did cut it close but the car was built to drive!!

thanks man, and yep, that's a garage door opener. If i'm nice i'll push it out before firing it to not wake the whole fam damily!! The sound, well, lots of trial and error led me to this. I have to thank a local guy Greg (Red83 on some of the boards) for the exhaust. It came off his turbo car that just happened to have the same headers i did. All i had to do is fab a new drive shaft loop and cross brace and button it all up. I confirmed, as many already know, that there's no DSL and cross brace for this kind of lower hanging exhaust.

I was with my dad at one of his corvette functions there and I did the same thing but I didn't have other clothes with me. Tank top/ shorts and sandles:face_shocked:

Running my car on street tires though was just like doing 1/8 mile burnouts.

and let's not go into the time at Atlanta Dragway when they wouldn't let me on the track w/o long pants...and the only thing was the Wal-Mart nearby where all they had was a pair of black sweatpants 1 size too small...in the summer....:embarassed:
