It was a pleasure to be around a group of enthusiasts sharing a common intrest.
I had the opportunity to meet some great people and see some good racing.
I was a bit dissapointed by the Nano shirt wearing guy with Taners car in the staging lanes.

the Nano shirt guy was carrying on about screw him dont give him any time if he cant start the car we win.
The guy in the Black car with the start problem seemed thrilled to be there, and I thought the idea was to have some FRIENDLY competition.

I mean damn, it was a high 9 sec car not like he was going to pull a Rabbit out of his hat.
I guess some people have class and some dont. Maybe the guy was just excited by a chance to win.

But hey, other than that awesome time.

I'm trying to think of who you are referring to in the shirt... were they competing, or were they track workers?

I was also disappointed they didnt give Ray more time really sucky part was the car fired right up after the DQ. There were a few people wearing that shirt including me but I was trying to help get rays car started.

I wasnt really upset about losing out because of a mechanical problem.....it is standard practice to be put on a timer and felt they gave me plenty of time to get the car started.

There are no hard feelings on my part.

On a side note the car is still starting every time I twist the key now....lol

There was actually two of them standing with Taners car in the staging lanes right before the pass where the black car wouldnt start. I am pretty sure they were both wearing the same shirts.
They were holding the driver side door open and the classy guy was carrying on about screw him dont give him any time and you win.
