people do it so they can get a couple of ponys from an easy mod, it keeps the incoming air from being heated up before the combustion process

Wouldn't a downside be if you live in a state where it freezes, your throttle body blades could freeze... Isn't that whats its there for anyways...

CORRECT^^^ not nec freezing the TB blades, but yes for COLD weather....

the coolant going through the throttle body helps warm the engine faster....right?

instead of buying a 3/8 connector thingy cant i buy a longer hose?

i live in montana and have never had an issue with anything in my tb freezing(stock or aftermarket tb)

i didnt need the connector or longer hose when i did mine
