guess my time

i am going to the tulsa drag strip and i have a stock car who can guess how fast it will go

95 formy with an lt1 out of a 97 z28, A4 and 2.73 gears in the rear

only mods are a cone filter on the mass air flow sensor and a cut out

street tires ( kumo escata old ones)

i am going to say 14.1 to 14.2 ish when i dynoed (before my mods) it had 244.72 rwhp and 277.52 rwtq


what do yall think?

Yeah I'd have said low 14's. Get some mods on that thing ASAP!!!! :D

at least your not a full bolt on car thats running 14.1's, though i think my trans has been on its last breath since i bought the car.

My car made 259/289 stock and wouldnt go any faster than a 14.3 but if I remember right it was really hot out.

Seems like the stock auto cars usually trap just under 100.

You guys are off I'm sayin 14.5. No disrespect but the first time I took my TA all It had was a cutout and flowmasters and it ran 14.39@97. I will say that with just a ported stock tb(52mm) and an airfoil it ran 14.09@98 the very next trip and on 245/50/16 doral street tires($75 a piece). Don't be dissapointed regaurdless as I got my TA with bolt-ons,non-adj suspension and some nitto 245/50/16 555r's it went 12.98@103.03 with a best trap of 104 and completly full weight comming in at 3650 with me in it.

Weather,DA,Humidity have so much to do with posts like this. There have been hi 13sec. Lt1s w/2.73s and mid 13s w/3.23 and M6 cars......

My 95 formy m6 had a cut airbox and worn out DRs and i ran a 14.2@98 w/3100' DA here in Vegas dry heat
Knowing what i have done at sea level vs. up here in altitude i would have to say you should be capable of running low 14s not bottom 14s(14.1&14.2) im thinkin 14.3s which is still very good, just gotta mod that sukka

well my fastest pass was 14.180 @ 100.70 mph

60ft was 2.250 on street tires !!!!!!!!

I got my car figuared out now!!!!!!! I went to the track again well a different track ( thunder valley raceway south of Norman) and I did a bunch of runs and found out how my car likes to fast,

tiny burnout (just to clean off tires), cut-out open and put it in drive!!

i guess the fact that i have the transmision perform button helps it a lot. i set a new fastest pass doing this and then hot laped it to see if it sas a fluke but it was not i the ran the 3rd fastest pass ever!!!!!
