Gauging interest: Car Videos???

I was just thinking the other day about taking my video/editing experience into the automotive world. If there would be any niche for a person who videos cars for owners or other multimedia? I have done work in the past for local companies, some local skateboarding clubs, and did a bunch for my high school but i dont know how i could market for us car guys. Would anyone be interested if i got this going or have any suggestions on putting myself out there?

Maybe make a website or something and post it on a bunch of different car forums? I think this is something alot of people would be interested in, and car forums would be the best place to advertise.. if you have a myspace or facebook you could advertise on it, or just make a seperate myspace for it.

ya i was thinking that, i would like to get some videos before i started anything, if anyone wanted to be my test mule i could dust off the camera and someone could get a free video

Hey man, is this something you want to do as a hobby, or to make money? I don't mean to put you off, but I don't know if there's any money to be had with something like this.

There's so many camcorders and even HD hand held cameras that most people film stuff themselves. I was just curious as to what you had in mind? ie.. filming car shows, drag races, or stuff like that?

It might work, and would defo be fun as a hobby. I think it may cost too much traveling around the country to film for people

Naw your didn't come off as a d-bag, but ya i was just seeing if there was any use for something like that and to make money off of it. I know there are alot of people out there with cameras but not alot with good video experience and ESPECIALLY good editing skills, trust me, i have seen some shitty editing that was passed off as good lol Im just gauging interest, just trying to get a feel if this would be worth something to start and see if it grows, or go full blown, or dont try at all. And i take constructive criticism very well, so let me have it lol

PS and not really for drag races or car shows, specifically someones car, i will post a video that i can say sums up my skills but its not mine.
