thanks bro!

Well, JGS sent an aluminum BOV flange (my cold side is mild steel), so that is gonna put a hault to things for this week. I am back on a customer's project (S.S. hot parts), so I'll be updating that thread this week.

Jon....what bov? If its the 60mm then id trade you my steel one for the aluminum one since that's what my cold side will be.

whats the purpose of the flex pipe?
to keep it from cracking?

whats the purpose of the flex pipe?
to keep it from cracking?

Serves a couple purposes:

1. During the fabricating process, flanges may more slightly during welding. With the flex section, you can still bolt the pipe up to both headers, even if something moved a little.

2. During operation, the exhaust heats up and cools and pipes expand and contract, so the flex helps prevent cracking as you mentioned.

Thanks to everyone else for the compliments.
