I started installing a lot of the little items I've had laying around for the car. One of the coolest LED products I've seen is the new 30 SMT LED tower front turn signal switch-backs. These are made in a new 48 SMT LED tower also, but I don't think that will fit in the housing ( too long ). Also, I don't think I really need it to be any brighter, it's so bright in the housing that when you turn on the running lights it looks like a DRL (driving light) from a 98-02 firebird. It's pretty cool that the SMT's will change from white as a running light to amber when you activate your turn signal.

Here are some various pics: ( Pic quality is descent, but still a camera phone (Iphone 3G, 2 mega-pixel) )

Cost?? Those look amazing, you should get rid of the amber lights behind the switchbacks though, but thats just my opinion :)

I take it you put the electronic flashers to get these to function properly... EL12 or something in that nature

Anybody who wants the info on where to purchase these LED switchbacks, just PM me. You need to pull out your stock incandescent and check it for form factor. It will either be, bayonet or spade form factor. My car is a 96 and it uses spade.

PS: You will need to use a EL12 for your turn signal relay.
