Please PM me with links, ideas, etc to add. Or post information and I will quote or link to it as needed. KEEP IN MIND: Information doesn't NEED to be added to this thread to be added to the contents. I can link to a seperate thread. I am just posting the basic stuff in posts in here because they aren't complex enough to require a separate thread.

Changing your Oil:
Obviously every LTx owner should be able to change their oil. Failure to due so is a result of loss in their "mancard" with the exception of a few female members.

Socket Size for drain plug:
15mm
Oil filter recommendations:
Wix 51069 (http://www.wixfilters.com/filterlookup/PartDetail.asp?Part=51069), however some use the 51061/51060 deep filter
AC Delco PF454
K&N HP2002 (http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=HP-2002)
Mobil 1 M1-111, however a lot of people have reported using good luck using the M1-302 (truck filter)

Hahahaha, good one.

How about AC Delco and Mobil 1 under the reccomended filters?

The Mobil 1 is either M1-202 OR M1-302.... They are both slightly different sizes but both fit, just one has been discontinued (not sure, but I think its the 202 that got discontinued).

The K&N is HP-2001 as far as I know...

EDIT : You got them right, disregard the K&N.

My fuel pump died... The shop wants 6 hours (~$450) of labor!? I can't afford that.
I do not condone this, but for the do it yourself that does not feel comfortable dropping your gas tank to replace the fuel pump, you can cut a whole in the floor of your hatch.

Here is a link to the "trap door" method. I take no credit for the information on this page, nor have I done this: http://www.geocities.com/formulapower2/fuelpump.html
Fastbird has also published this.

My Power Window Motor died....
I'm sure it's happened to everyone.

Shoebox has made a great walkthrough to replace a power window motor which has been featured in GM HighTech Performance. It can be found here (http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html).

*I will take some pictures when I replace mine next spring and edit this post.

I use KN 3002. Holds an extra 1/2 quart and has the anti-drainback valve, not sure if the 2002 has that.

The Centerline Telstar wheel is a budget friendly and more installation friendly wheel for the 4th Gen F-Body vehicles than other wheels of the like (Weld and Bogart come to mind). The most obvious advantages of the Telstar when compared to the others is the fact that these wheels use a standard acorn lug nut, and not the shank style (SST) lugnuts which require longer wheel studs to pass NHRA tech. As GM High Tech Performance has proven, these are a direct bolt-on for the 93-97 LT1 F-Body carline. No spacers or caliper clearancing required. But, what about LT1 cars with LS1 front brakes, or LS1 cars??? That's where this write-up (http://www.fastbird93.com/Installations/Telstar.htm) comes in.

Detailed Walk through: http://www.fastbird93.com/Installations/Telstar.htm

*Posted on Fastbird's behalf (http://ltxtech.com/forums/showthread.php?1210-LTx-Quick-Reference-Thread&p=13962&viewfull=1#post13962). I have not tried done this modification, so contact him with any questions

JoeliusZ28 put together a good walk through on swapping your LTx style intake over to a LS1 Lid. It's a little controversial, but if your interested in doing this feel free to check it out. Evidence supports that this swap will generate more airflow/power than a LT1 CAI setup.

His thread can be found here (http://ltxtech.com/forums/showthread.php?9701-LS1-Lid-LS1-rad-support-stock-hood-DONE) and a direct link to his walk through can be found here (http://blog.joeldevriendt.com/?p=41).

The factory tire sizes for a stock (16x8) wheel are either 235/55/16 or 245/50/16 depending on whether or not your car came with the 150mph speedo, or if it's a V6 car, etc.

Someone recently asked, "What's the max width for STOCK 16" rear wheels?" (http://ltxtech.com/forums/showthread.php?10452-Max-width-for-STOCK-rear-wheels-16-quot)
My suggestion was not to go any bigger than 255/50/16, but if you are deviating from stock tire sizes, do so at your own risk.
