Do the auto LT1 cars hook pretty good if you just mash the throttle?

My buddy had a 96 or something but its been a couple years... I dont think his would even powerbrake?

My A4 firebird will burn them off almost all the way through first, with the old wheels all the way through first. I have 323s though. When it had 273s it would bark the tires and then jump.

Mine Hooks. I got 17x9 Ws6 Rims w/KDWs 275/40/17s Only mod is Exhaust. Took My friends 05 GTO out of hole :laugh: He just spun.

in video i am on 275/35/18 i believe, i usually dont burn out at all off the line on 2.73s. at track i was getting 2.1s consistanly, so stock stall, street tires, big boy/ no weight reduction thats roughly what i would expect.

sounds like you guys having bad problems with hooking.. I got a fully built tranny in my 96 and pretty much all bolt ons. I run Nitto DR's and I have a 2500 stall in my tranny and I will powerbrake it to right at 2400 or 2500 and I track like a mofo. I will bark second gear and a small one in 3rd
