Does anyone have the qualifying sheet from Extreme Street N/A last year? I need to know if I will be competitive or not.

It was mid to low 12s, but the weather was shit. I guess mid to low 11s this yr with better weather. Judging from your sig you should fit right in!

Yea I have about 100lbs to lose to get down to 3400. The HVAC box and passenger airbag should be out sometime this week so I will just need to find 40 more pounds to pull out.

damn...thats faster than I thought everyone would be going. Im not going to have the $$ to go buy any interior anyway. lol

I dont know what to expect its my first build but I know I wont be in the 11s

With ported heads and a cc306 you should be able to go 11's. My car is stock heads and a cc503 and it has gone 7.57 in the 1/8th which should be in the 11's. Haven't had a chance to run it 1/4mi in good air. I think all of you M6 guys need to see the light and switch to an auto. :D

Ive thought about a auto swap but stick is just so much more fun to race, and I do quite well with it

I agree it is fun to bang gears but I think it is cheaper to go fast with an auto. I went from a 1.88 60ft best to a 1.54 60ft best and from 7.98 to a 7.57 in the 1/8th just from swapping to an auto.

This race is in your back yard. You will regret missing it because you can't scrap enough money to buy a few interior pieces. :shame: Don't worry about the times in that class either. Come have a good time. Would love to meet you.

Thanks Tony....believe me I wouldnt miss this race for anything, Im looking very forward to it. I have some other friends with LT1s coming as well. We will all probably be in bracket and index.

If we dont pick up some at work Ill be lucky to get my motor done by August, interior would be a bonus for sure.

Im working on it though ;)

bracket and index don't require interior...borrow what you need from a friends car thats running in that class ;)

and as stated before post up what parts you are missing and let us see what we can do to help you

Yeah no kidding, what interior parts are you lacking? I've got some misc spare grey interior parts, if I've got anything you could use, just pay shipping and their yours.

Its gonna be tough competing with you 400hp+ M6 guys with my cam only 330hp car. I won't have the money before September to get the LE2 setup I want. Hopefully next year though.

True, but one missed shift or screw-up on launch and it'll be over for an M6 car...ya never know.

Yea true. Just gonna have to cut a good light and hope for the best. As long as I don't go out first round I'll be pretty happy.

I first want to say I DID NOT DO THIS TO MY CAR, I think it was dumb of the previous owner to tear all the interior out but leave the ac, sway bar, bumper supports, etc. Heres a few pics of what I need...as you can see I need everything plastic trim wise, specifically the hatch area. All Ive got is the seats, door panels, a pillars, and the dash.

My motor is in the machine shop so ignore the fuel pump trap door hole and shifter clutter sitting around....but you get the point.

If anyone has any of this stuff, I dont care what color Ill pay to ship or buy it if its pretty cheap....thanks!

Hmmm I'm pretty sure I've got both plastic side panels that go in the hatch, they are grey just so ya know. I'll look when I get home...if I've got them I'll ship them to ya if you pay shipping.

Absolutly...that would be great. Thank you. Just let me know.

Good idea AC, do you belive that to be legal or do you have to have stock carpet

AChotrod

I dont think it needs to be stock carpet, just have full interior and make weight. I would ask Tony or Kyle to be 100% sure though.

You are close to me. Maybe you could bring your car to one of the local races? It shouldn't take 400 HP to beat most of these guys.

I should be at Mooresville this Saturday. Just got some 3.73s put it and the heat pulled out. Hoping for some consistent 7.50's
