I'm just curious on which would be easier to learn to use. And which cost less to get all files that I need to program? And links if you have them to the order page.

I don't know much about TunerCat. I have always used LT1Edit, http://carputing.com/ I know with TunerCat you can program mutliple vehicles where LT1Edit is Vin number specific.

Tunercat here....Its the only tuning program ive ever used. It does help if you know what each sensor readout is supposed to look like.

Tunercat will cost more than that for ALL the definition files, but if you aren't going to tune pickup trucks, and oldsmobiles, and buick GNs etc, why get ALL the files?
I've used both, and much more prefer TC. I have both, and I haven't used edit in years.

oh, well I just want the files to tune my 94Z. How much will that run, I'm not going to program any other car.

I have used TC for many years and like it however after watching Moe Bailey do his magic to a couple of cars over the weekend with LT1Edit I may try it out.

We were some of the first to get LT1edit in 99. Also the same for LT1 OBD-II edit and LS1 edit.
That being said We now use Cats and HPtuners ;)
IMHO edit dropped us like hot rocks when they hit LSx territory and never really came back to support us. I was stuck trying to get three cars through emmissions and could not even get a F*&k you out of them.
That is just our experiance. Hard to believe I have been tuning for ten years next year!
