Hello , Just wanted to introduce my self for a bit.

I go by the name of Ben , I have 95 z28 a4 mystic teal. The engine hydrolocked not to long ago. I just recently bought a rebuilt lt1 to replace it. Just waiting for more $$ to come in. So I can put in a 503 cam before i put in the engine.

How did you manage to hydrolock the motor? Always good to upgrade when you have the chance to.

No idea yet.. I didn't use it while raining. I didn't pass through any puddles.

Car was parked for 2 weeks. I tried turning it on, It broke 3 starters. Took out the spark plugs. Cranked the car and a crap load of water came out through the spark plug holes.

Got a new starter . Cranked the car it started . But there was a loud knocking noise. I gassed it to like 1500 rpms and the motor blew a rod through the side of the block.

Possible Reasons
1. Someone put water in my gas tank
2. Since the hurricane had just passed. Maybe the gas a i pumped had water in it. Since I parked it for 2 weeks . Im thinking the water and gas divided. And when cranked the car after those 2 weeks. The gas pump probably just pumped pure water.

If i hadn't parked the car for that long. Water would of been mixed with gas and somehow evaporated or something..

Those are the only 2 possible reasons. No head gasket was blown or anything.


So to prevent this i'm getting a gas cap with a key.

Sorry to hear bout yer bad luck.
I had a mystic camaro and sold it after six months to some chick that drives the shit out of it right in front of my face. BITCH
