Hey everyone (that bought the new LPP headers)-

How'd they fit? New issues? Problems from old batch come through in the new batch? No issues? Install tricks?
Just curious, I know a lot of us bought them (including me). I haven't installed mine yet, I'm waiting til late spring and putting them on my soon-to-be new forged 383/Procharger setup.

Just from opening the package and sort of mocking up the headers and Y, I couldn't get the collectors and Y to fit inside one another. Are they just supposed to join, or slip-fit together?

Did they start making new batches again? Iw as thinking about buying them for my next car but saw there were issues with the steering shaft irrc. I know I wont get Hooker Supercomps again. They came on my car and after seeing Pacesetters and other long tubes Changing my sparkplugs is a joke.

Nice write-up! One question:
Since I'm not installing until I install my new motor, any thoughts about installing them on the motor on the stand, then putting the whole works back into the car (from the bottom)? Installing with the motor out would be much easier, yes? ;)

It will probably be fine but the #8 primary might be really close to the frame.
